Urbanhot is a kind of street furniture (seats, bus shelters, play parks, terraced stands, handrails, etc.) able to provide a set temperature (hot or cold) to suit the outdoor temperature using renewable or conventional energy.

Urbanhot works through the energy which comes from the ground using geothermal heat (or from the sun via solar thermal panels) which extracts the energy necessary to produce the comfort temperature – whether hot or cold.

Through geothermal power, Urbanhot becomes a reservoir of heat and/or cold. Through solar power, it becomes a reservoir of heat.

Urbanhot is highly versatile in its possible applications. Urbanhot is integrated the city and forms part of it and can be installed in its parks, squares, bus shelters, railway and bus stations, private housing estates, hospitals, day-care centres, rest homes, churches, sports and leisure centres, ski resorts, fun parks, hotels, large resorts, spas, etc.
